Re: Umbilical Cord Stem cells
There was no side by side/case by case results but a general overall success rate for type 2 diabetics and "moderate" or partial success with type 1 diabetics. You may read the studies from the U. of Wisconsin and Eastern Virginia Medical School as they are posted on the web. Or, parts of ...

Re: Umbilical Cord Stem cells
After reading about this new approach to possibly curing diabetes I found one site in particular, Cyro-Cell International, which gives an outline of three different stem cell based trial studies on type 1 diabetics. One test done by the Eastern Virginia Medical School used bone marrow stem cells fro...

Re: Umbilical Cord Stem cells
Nope, have never heard of this new approach and am unable to comprehend how it works with my feeble mind and minimal cranial capacity but hope that this news is true. Its gotten to the point where almost everyone I know has become diabetic and the only proven cure has been a pancreas transplant done...

Re: Acquiring Insulin
Not only insulin but syringes should also be stockpiled. I know people who use the same syringe 4 or 5 times, then save the allotted syringes not used to acquire a stockpile of them. No ill effects have occurred from doing this. You may also purchase syringes at a pet store but these are a larger di...

Well that's good news. My doctor has recommended taking 2000 units of fish oil twice daily to lower cholesterol. I can't take statins because they cause severe muscle pain.

Re: All Purpose White Flour Storage
I've got white flour stored in large Tupperware type tubs, high and dry in a cool storage locker with no problems after 12 years. We don't use very much flour and bought it in bulk, that's why we still have it. What is the recommended way to properly store it?

Re: Horizontal Nylon Shoulder Holster
The main concern with a CCW holster is that you can pull the piece out without it getting hung up on the front sight blade or safety catch, if you need to draw you need it NOW ! This is why a pistol with target sights is not very practical for carrying because the front sight blade is higher than st...

Mine did that also right from the factory set up. Maybe try setting the #2 die just a tad deeper so it opens up the mouth of the case more to accept lead bullets. Those shavings can cause a malfunction and eliminating them by hand takes forever.

Re: Going Blue
I have to admit that my first test batch of 223 rounds would not work correctly, the bolt would not go home because the shoulder dimensions had changed when inserting the projectile. I have 20 of these first test rounds that need to be torn down and re sized. If the spent cases are too long this phe...

Oh now you've done it ! Getting a Dillon Press was a giant leap forward and once set up you can crank out large volumes of quality ammunition in record time. I have a Dillon Square Deal progressive press and can load 300 forty five rounds in an hour if I concentrate and don't get out of sequence. Bi...

Why do you pop out primers before tumbling?? I have tried this before and pieces of tumbling media become lodged in the flash hole or primer pocket and then must be removed by hand, a real pain in the butt. Does a wet tumbler contain any abrasives or is it strictly a liquid cleaner?

I'm jealous. Does this rifle use M-14 magazines? If not, how much are spare mags? Are the rear sights adjustable for long range shots?

Next week I drive up to Seattle for the turkey dinner routine. I'm apprehensive about going for several reasons, one being the earfull of left wing Seattle-ese doublespeak I will get from my niece and nephew who have been conditioned by the colleges to conform to the bleeding heart mantra of progres...

I didn't know that about the cash registers having graphics. There are no fast food restaurants in town and the one restaurant still uses a hand cranked cash register that works when the power is out. I have a niece who graduated from college last May. She is obcessed with everyone being equal, gend...

Re: AR building
Ammo prices are down because the suppliers need to eliminate as much inventory as possible before the first of the year, or they get stuck paying tax on it. I saw military surplus 30 rd AR mags with the non binding followers for $7.00 a pop at a small local gun show. These were new mags still in the...

Re: AR building
Noticed the prices dropping and in some cases they are half of what they cost during the panic buying period after Sandyhook. Everybody and their brother owns an AR now. This may be a strategic error as some terrain requires a heavier, longer range round. Must admit they are a lot of fun to shoot.

Some people take the time to dip the sulpher match ends in candle wax to prevent moisture from being absorbed over time, then scrape it off before use. I may undertake this procedure on a nothing to do rainy day as medication bottles are not waterproof and making a river crossing might destroy the a...

I found a used army rucksack for $15 at a gun show, this is the newer kind made from camoflauge material with no metal frame. I want to use it for a bug out bag to be kept in my Jeep. I don't have a license to practice psychiatry but in my opinion Hillary is obviously as crazy as a loon. What gets me is how many people want her as president. She is very popular on the libtard college campuses amongst young trend setters who will vote for her simply because she would be the first ...

Re: Ammunition shortage
In this area it looks like panic has once again set in, after the presidents visit last Friday rumors are flying about new anti gun executive orders and people are purchasing guns and ammo anywhere they can find them. Two local gunshops have ordered more ARs due to the demand. There still is no 22 a...

Re: Russian Ammo As An Investment
Have you seen the prices on magazines lately?? Never seen them sold at such a low price, especially AR mags. Thirty round AR mags for $8 a piece and there are piles of them at local gun shows. Now is the time to buy as there is no telling what new gun/magazine restrictions might be imposed in light ...

Many of the locals here are doing reloading and have stocked up on components so as not to run out again. I have recently purchased a Dillon Square Deal auto indexing press for reloading handgun ammunition and am kicking myself for not doing this years ago. Production has increased to 300 rounds per...

IMR Powder Recall
IMR has announced a recall of their new powder IMR 4007 SSC because it can explode in the can while sitting on the shelf. They recomend pouring water into the powder container to neutralize it and also to pull any bullets out of any reloads using this powder and fill them with water.

Last Saturday I shot a couple hundred of these blemished hollow points during a bowling pin shoot at our local gun club and they functioned great, were all accurate and knocked those pins right off the table. Re: GLOCK 40 MOS 10mm Auto, longslide
I participated in a bowling pin match last week. There was one contestant there using a 10 MM with 180 grain hollow point bullets. It did a poor job of knocking down bowling pins, the bullets just passed right on through without expanding and didn't knock the pins off the table. Big disappointment f...
