The Importance of Fuel Stabilizer

Post by Watchman »

I've heard this from engine people that if you store gasoline for an extended period of time you need to add a fuel stabilizer (such as Stable) to it to keep it usable with few problems.

I have used Stable for years and have never encountered any problems with the fuel going bad in a gas can or engine. I have had problems with carburetors that didn’t have Stable fuel in them, especially two cycle engines. Gasoline is too expensive to not use it.
