Storage Of Insulin Off-The-Grid (Without Power)

Post by Watchman »

Not being able to store and use insulin in the case of an emergency loss of power is NOT an option for this family! I have been perplexing about it for years. I will say that the possible solutions seem to be improving with the advances in technology. This one of the best resources I have seen (The Survival Doctor): http://www.thesurvivaldoctor.com/2012/0 ... n-storage/

And this, available at all China Marts: http://www.walmart.com/ip/36442149?wmls ... 31&veh=sem

Great info! I constantly struggle with this regarding my preps. Two family members are Type-1 diabetic (dependent on insulin). If the grid goes down, insulin disappears, my family members die.
